Aqua Resort Club celebrates Halloween

On Saturday, the restaurant was jam-packed with people coming in to celebrate Halloween with their families.

Awit said the resort was also fully booked with other events.

The hotel offered a 20 percent discount on Friday and Saturday.

“We read in the news that ARC will give 20 percent discount,” said a tourist from Japan who declined to be identified.

He and her fiancee were seen dining at the restaurant on Saturday.

Awit said they were happy to host a lot of costumers especially on Friday night when the first pumpkin carving competition was held.

Nine children,  12  years old and below, participated on the competition and six were awarded for their creativity.

Zaldy Muyon topped the creative category while Tara Deleon Guerero had the scariest pumpkin.

Both winners received a gift certificate for Sunday brunch buffet for two.

The other awardees in the creative pumpkin contest were Gilbert Deco, second prize; and Alfie Madlambayan, third prize.

In the scariest pumpkin contest, Kyle Deronila won second prize while Tiffany Manlambayan  got the third prize.

All four received a light and easy buffet gift certificate.

On Saturday, a costume contest for children 12 years old and below was  held at the Vino Bar.

Oasis A. Sionosa, a 1-year-old in a penguin suit, won a Sunday brunch buffet for two. 

Over 20 nurses of the Commonwealth Health Center participated in the forum on breast cancer at ARC on the same day.
