“Aside from a baby seat we also installed a fire extinguisher. We comply with the rules,” he said.
To better serve the public, the Saipan City Taxi Association is upgrading its members’ skills to provide a satisfactory service to passenger, he added.
He reminded the community that their members have passed the workshop on handling persons with disabilities, and passengers during an emergency situation.
The workshop was conducted by the Northern Marianas Protection & Advocacy Systems Inc. last year.
There are many persons with disabilities who avail of their services, and they need special attention, Syed said.
Their services, he added, supplement the Call-A-Ride program for persons with disabilities.
