The students played their violins as they performed Christmas songs and other classical pieces.
Maestro Ao Zhang, with instructor Wang Yi, led the students while San Antonio Parish Pastoral Council President Herbert Del Rosario was the master of ceremonies.
The pieces played by the students during the program were “Home Sweet Home,” “You Are My Sunshine,” “Concerto in A-minor” by Vivaldi, “Jesu-Joy of Men’s Desiring,” “Ave Maria,” and “Zigeunerweisen,” a piece in C minor for violin and orchestra written in 1878 by the Spanish composer and virtuoso Pablo Sarasate.
Ao Zhang and Wang Yi joined the students in the final performance, which was “Joy to the World,”
After the concert the Christmas Eve Mass was celebrated by Fr. Jojo Santos, the parish priest.
