One of their activities in the holiday season is the Christmas tree competition at Paseo de Marianas.
“The manamko’ are creating their tree for that event,” said Rose Mondala, acting director of the Office on Aging.
“We do have other activities for the manamko’ and we will once again have a Christmas party, which we hold every year,” she added.
The senior centers on Rota and Tinian also have their plans for Christmas.
“I monitor them to see and what they have,” Mondala said.
Yesterday was her birthday, and it was celebrated at the manamko’ center with singing and dancing that was followed by lunch.
