Jordon Kosam, Thomas Tebuteb, Tony Rogolifoi, Tars Olopai, Dwain Stephens, Joe Saures, Jesse Seman, and Ray Tigilao were elected to the new board members during the RGA annual Club Championship banquet last Dec. 6, 2009 at the Carolinian Village.
Kosam remains as the current president while Tebuteb is the new vice president.
Rogolifoi was elected handicap chairman and Olopai is the new secretary.
Stephens replaced Jess I. Wabol as tournament director; Saures will take care of the publicity; Seman, fundraising and Tigilau is the membership chairman.
The RGA board and officers will serve a one-year term.
RGA encourages all past, present and new members to take advantage of the $25 annual membership.
Tournament qualifier and ace fee is set at $30. Green fee is $30, depending on venue tournament.
Olopai who shot 69 won the RGA Ace of Ace tournament that was at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort’s east course.
Aside from the Tagabuel award, Olopai also received the Sid K. Peter award for the overall most rounds played in 2009 with perfect games of 24.
RGA April Ace, Ray Tigilao shot the lowest average net award.
The other RGA aces who competed in the club championship were January ace, Ciu Xian Lai; February ace, Tars Olopai; March ace, Asterio Tawanpiy; April ace Ray Tigilau; May ace, Nick Sablan; June ace, Sonny Flores; July ace, Jay Choi; August ace, Jess Seman; September ace, Joe Saures; October ace, Ben Duenas; November ace Tom Tebuteb and December ace Joe Wabol.
