The courses are offered as part of the college’s mission to provide customized, continuing educational and professional development opportunities in response to community needs.
Additionally, the courses are designed to give potential test-takers an idea of what to expect on the Praxis I and II exams. The Praxis I prep course will cover Pre-Professional Skills Test Math, PPST writing, and PPST reading; while the Praxis II prep course will cover literature and language arts, mathematics, history and social studies, and sciences. Both courses are open to all elementary teachers in the private and public school systems.
