Patriots in junior, Ol’ Aces takes debut win in senior division

 

After Jeremy’s solo, the Patriots had three more runs to take the lead in the first inning.

Juljean Ngeskebei fired a three-run triple to stretch the Patriots’ lead in the third inning, and Brandon Philip drove-in a run on an error in the second base.

Chris Mizer and Henry Rabauliman singled before Ray Saralu moved them to scoring positions and Ken Kalen drove-in two runs with a single in the sixth inning.

Jeremy sent two base runners home again on a fielder’s choice and the Patriots strengthened their lead in the sixth inning for their 20-14 win.

AJ Lizama had a three-run home run in the sixth inning and Jesse Santos connected a two-run triple in a attempt to come back.

Ol’ Aces 16, Fielders 6

In Seniors Division, the Ol’ Aces suffered a scoreless first inning before they bounced back in the fourth, then, never looked back as they went ahead for their strong and first victory, over the Fielders, 16-6.

From a two-run deficit, the Ol’ Aces rallied  in the bottom of the fourth, with Lamarc Iguel hitting a two-run triple and Harry Nakamura sending him home with an RBI single.

Iguel took the mound and struck out four to help the Ol’ Aces hold the Fielders scoreless in the following innings.

Iguel drove-in two runs again with a single and Jesse Yamagishi fired a run-scoring triple in the fifth inning. Iguel added two-run s base hit to secure Ol’ Aces’ victory in the sixth inning on a 10-run mercy rule.
