Letter to the Editor: Hit and miss

Do not confuse yourself with the real point that I am trying to make about real people.

First, DORA, you claimed you are not sure what island and election I am talking about. It is either you failed to recognize that there was a runoff election back in November, or you were just completely ignorant of your basic rights to vote for our common good. By the way, did you vote? At any rate, if you did vote, then you have to agree that this was the first time ever that we had a runoff election in the CNMI where our honorable governor and lt. governor lost by 8 votes but came back with a win in a real big number. Isn’t this historical?

DORA also talked about not having enough money or funds to “buy votes” or jobs to go around. How can you miss my point? This is not the point I am trying to make. Let me see if I can write something simple to this effect so you will understand better. It is not about buying votes or not having enough funds to get a job when promised. It’s about getting together as citizens of our mother CNMI to assist or contribute positively to assist our leaders reach the finish line so that our economy will get better, thus, better lives. We all know that this will bring more money and more jobs for us. Maybe this way, we do not have to rely on promises. I am sure that when this thing happens, even the guy on the side of the aisle will benefit.

DORA, these are the pretty stuff that I am talking about. Your tone is not needed but if you redirect your energy and spend time understanding what my editorial was about, perhaps, you can push people to the finish line. Let us stop the animation and let us get back to the real world, real people at real time. Sina? Pat ti sina? Hafa Mohon?
