The commissioner was here to ascertain a practical timeline for the commission’s board which wants to meet in Yap.
Regular meetings have always been in Pohnpei, but the commission recently decided to take its meetings out to the state level to allow for greater input from the state leaderships.
Waguk said the last meeting of the board took place in Kosrae and was quite successful in getting wider inputs o issues pertaining to the commission’s overall mandate.
Anefal said any time before the end of February and after the first couple days of March would be fine.
He said open communication is also essential in securing a date for the meeting as unexpected commitments may arise.
