The Ol’ Aces had to endure two straight scoreless innings when the Dragons’ Nathan Camacho had a great start on the mound succeeding five of his nine strike outs.
The Dragons also started strong from the batting plate with Aldin Ngeskebei hitting a double and AJ Deleon Guerrero, a single to take the lead in the first inning.
The Ol’ Aces came back in the third inning, with Timmy Pangelinan hitting a run-scoring single, while Brel and Kenji Yamagata made their way to the home plate to cap a four-run third inning.
In the fourth inning, Brel stole his way to the scoring position before Yamagata sent him home on a fielder’s choice.
Virolanson Secharmidal, Brel and Yamagata singled in the fifth and Oscar Setefano drove-in a run with his sacrifice bat and the Ol’ Aces secured their victory.
Braves 14, Red Sox 3
JJ Lifoifoi knocked-in a two-run single in the third, and rocketed a three-run triple in the fourth inning, leading the Braves’ rout on the Red Sox, 14-3, in the second game.
Lifoifoi led-off a walk, then, with two outs in the first inning, Ian Norita drove him in with a double. KJ Cruz sent Norita home with a single.
Lifoifoi also went sharp from the mound striking out five to help the Braves secure a 10-run mercy rule victory.
Franklin Lizama hit an RBI single before Lifoifoi drove-in two runs with in the third. Lizama knocked-in another RBI with his third single in the game and before Lifoifoi had the three-run shot for their first win.
Lions 15, Hustlers 12
Givoni Taitingfong hit a two-run triple in the first inning and June Maliti hit a two-run double in the third leading the Lions’ to beat Hustlers, 15-12.
Marello Ogo had an RBI single in the first.
The Hustlers rallied in the fifth inning with Dizon Magofna and Dean Santos driving-in runs with walk, and Peterson Renguul sending a base runner home on a hit-by-pitch.
But the Hustler ran short of time to come back when the Lions’ last pitcher struck out two of their batters in the bottom of the sixth inning.
