“Our company has always been a strong supporter of the college and its mission to advance educational and professional training opportunities for students,” said Dr. Alan Markoff of Toothworks. “We are glad to be making this donation on behalf of all employees of Toothworks.”
The donation, made through the educational tax credit program, was presented in support of the upcoming 8th Annual Golf Foundation Open golf tournament, which is organized by the NMC Foundation. The tournament, the organization’s signature event, aims to raise critical funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.
“We are extremely grateful for Toothworks’ generous contribution,” said Ben Babauta, president of the NMC Foundation. “The donation speaks volumes about the company’s dedication to enhancing higher education in the CNMI.”
The NMC Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to raise funds to support Northern Marianas College, the CNMI’s lone post-secondary educational institution. “We are deeply thankful for Toothworks’ donation,” said NMC interim President Lorraine Cabrera. “The company’s donation will help the college enhance the programs and services that we provide to the college.”
