(EMO) — The U.S. military will conduct military training on the following places, dates and time:

Farallon De Mendenilla


• March 9 – 7:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m

• March 10-13 – 7:45 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. South of Guam

• March 11 – 6:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

• March 13 – 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Due to the danger imposed by this activity, acting Gov. Eloy S. Inos is advising the general public, especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators, to stay away from this area during the time and dates indicated.

Zoning Board chair and member to appear on Marianas Agupa radio talk show

MARIANAS Agupa, a Chamorro talk show program hosted by Glenn H. Manglona, will feature Herminia Fusco, chairwoman of the Zoning Board, and Henry Hofschenider, member of the board.

The two will be discussing the zoning law, regulation and its ramification as it applies to businesses on Saipan this coming Saturday March 13, between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Magic 100.3 FM.

MHS Open House

(MHS) — To all parents and legal guardians of Marianas High School students:  MHS will be hosting its third Open House on Wednesday, March 10, from 4 to 6 p.m.  Students will be released at 1 p.m. on this day to allow the school time to prepare for the event.  During the open house, progress reports will be distributed for 3rd quarter grades.

“We invite all parents/legal guardians to visit your student’s classrooms, meet the teachers, and pick up your student’s progress reports,” MHS said.
