After seeing their 20 point lead dwindle to just 4 points, 65 – 61, courtesy of an 18 – 4 run by team Kabong on the third canto, team Ididers went to their drawing board and revised their gameplan entering the fourth quarter. With their outside shooting proved to be ineffective, Ididers then attacked team Kabong with their inside game and intensified their defense at the other end of the court that created turnovers to their challenger which paid great dividends as they were able to get momentum working for them. From there, team Ididers took control of the game having an 8 point lead and with them using the shot clock wisely team Kabong succumbed to a score of 83 – 75 on game three.
As a result, Ididers lived another day and Kabong will have to wait to bring down their balloons from the rafters as they meet each other again on game 4 as the series is at 2 – 1 in favor of Kabong.
The 2010 ABL is organized and supervised by the Palau Basketball Federation and is sponsored by Shell, Palau.
