Yap asks FSM Congress to subsidize Social Security program

Such amendment is to require that a percentage of the fees collected under the licensing program be directed and deposited into the FSM Social Security system account.

The resolution noted that the FSM Social Security needs millions of dollars to remain solvent.

It also stated that, unlike national taxes revenues, the license fee is “considered as revenues only for the national government operations and programs.”

The Social Security is a national program which benefits the FSM people.
