Voyagers, Fotten Palau top as Budweiser 8-Ball seasons ends

The Voyagers, enduring only one loss since last week, kept the top slot in the league’s Agingan division as they defeated VFW Sentinel last Tuesday. They swept six victories to tally 101 wins in the final standings against 25 losses in 126 games they played.

The Docomo Hustler also stayed close posting 92 wins and giving away only one game since the last count. They beat the D’ Pirates Huwa to keep the second place.

The 10/10 Bud Brothers remained in third position with 91 wins and 35 losses after beating USSP Whatever.

The 10/10 Home Boys added five more victories from their previous standings as they survived USSP Fotten Palau to settle for the fourth place. They now have 79 wins against 47 losses.

In the Obyan Division, USSP Fotten Palau still has the most number of wins despite loss to the Home Boyz. They have 52 wins and 74 losses.

Taking the Obyan Division second place is theVFW Shark Attack with 46 wins and 80 losses.

And USSP Whatever settled for the third place with 44 wins and 83 losses.

The Team Pirates and VFW Sentinel are still trailing with 31 and 29 wins respectively after losses to Shark Attack and the Voyagers.

Meanwhile, the Budweiser Cup is set to open tomorrow July 13, as SBA set the season’s awards banquet for Aug. 8, 11 a.m., at the Pacific Island Club’s Charley’s Cabaret.

The SBA-Budweiser Open 8-ball League is now accepting sign-ups for the next season. Deadline for submission of sign ups will be on Aug. 8. The League matches will start on Aug. 24.
