Currently out on bail, Fitial, 26, has been charged by the Attorney General’s Office with aggravated assault and battery, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace.
Police said Fitial, smelling of alcohol, punched Scot Thompson several times on Beach Road near The Flair Bar in Garapan last February.
Prior to the assault, Fitial cussed and shouted at Thompson and his friend Jong Sung Kim, police said.
