Toribiong, in an interview, said the chief executives of Palau, the CNMI, Guam, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and its states — Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosrae — will again meet to discuss key priority development initiatives for the region and to reach consensus on their implementation.
They will discuss quarantine standardization, the Micronesia Challenge, extradition treaties and laws, maritime surveillance operation, airport improvement program, fiber optic cable, global environmental facility, immigration and labor, U.S. financial assistance, postal service, prior service, the Pacific Plan, trade related issues and the maritime boundary treaty.
Palau will host a meeting of the leaders of the three Freely Associated States — the Marshalls, the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau — on July 29.
