Marianas March Against Cancer fundraising activities in full gear

• Team Pacific Islands Club will be holding a car wash event on Saturday, April 10, in the PIC parking lot in San Antonio.  The event will run from 8 to 11 a.m.  There are three packages available: Bronze, $5 (exterior); Silver, $15 (exterior/interior); Gold, $25 (exterior/interior/waxing); Van/Larger Vehicles ($5 extra).  All funds raised go towards PIC’s contribution to the Marianas March Against Cancer.

• Team PIC will also have a 50-kilometer bike race on Sunday, April 11.  Entry fee is only $20.  Interested individuals are encouraged to register by Friday, April 9, at the PIC front desk.  For more information contact Evan Hunsberger at 234-7976.

• Team PIC will be hosting a dodge ball tournament which will help raise funds for the Marianas March Against Cancer.  The tournament will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 23-24, at the PIC tennis court.  Interested participants are encouraged to register by April 21 to secure your spot.  For more information on PIC’s fundraising events, contact Evan Hunsberger at 234-7976.

• Team TSA Guardians will be selling luminaries and raffle tickets every Saturday at the Joeten Superstore (former Price Costco) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The public is encouraged to purchase a luminary for only $5 to honor a cancer survivor or to remember a loved one who has lost the fight against this deadly disease.  Each luminary may be personally designed by the purchaser and will be lit the entire night at the Marianas March Against Cancer event.

Raffle tickets are also being sold for only $5 each by Team TSA Guardians and prizes up for grabs include a free ticket to Asia, a free ticket to the U.S. and other travel related items courtesy of 2010 MMAC title sponsor Delta Air Lines.
