6 months probation for man in assault case

Superior Court Associate Judge Ramona V. Manglona imposed the sentence on Alfonso Sablan Palacios, 36, who signed a plea agreement, and entered a guilty plea to the crime of disturbing the peace.

The court dismissed with prejudice the other charge against Palacios.

He was earlier charged with assault and battery for slapping a female household member on June 26, 2009.
