Regularly helping the development of athletes in different sports federations on the island, Shell Palau Branch Manager Frank Kyota this time has presented a check worth $15,000 to PBF to be used constantly to help the current smooth basketball operation of different programs run by the association.
On the other hand, after accepting a financial assistance from IOC through a joint effort and request from PNOC and PBF, national squads of both men and women were supplied practice jerseys to be used during training sessions of the squads and other pertinent materials needed for team preparations.
Both squads are currently training while continuing to learn more on the understanding of the game of hoops in time for the upcoming 2010 Micronesian Games to compete against neighboring islands like Guam, CNMI, FSM, and Marshall Islands to name a few.
