The game ended with 76-67, where the DL Cooking Gases were unable to catch up to their opponents.
By focusing on their five key players, the PTCs were able to turn the game around early in the match.
The DL Cooking Gases put up a one-point lead in the first quarter, thanks to Danny Dayrit who made 8 points.
Unfortunately, their lead was not big enough to maintain them above the PTCs. The PTCs tied the game 36-36 and later led 59-53 in the third quarter.
PTC secured their lead with the help of Von Tamayo, who quickly raised the team by ten points plus a last-minute three pointer. Tamayo later scored the most baskets with a total of 32 points.
Cargo Express wins game by default
Because of the Vipers’ lack of necessary players to play the Miller Lite Basketball League’s first game last Tuesday, their team had no choice but to forfeit against the Cargo Express.
Cargo Express technically wins the match, whereas the Vipers will not get their chance at a rematch according to game rules.
