Start time is 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 12.
Sponsored jointly by the KFC Triathlon Club, the Tinian Mayor’s Office, Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino, and the Marianas Visitors Authority, this event is another in a series of sports events that attract visitors, athletes, and media to the beautiful Northern Marianas.
“MVA is committed to creating and supporting such events,” said MVA Managing Director Perry Tenorio. “These events are a wonderful opportunity for people to visit and enjoy our islands.”
Entry fee for a solo triathlon (all three events) is $80. Cost for a team triathlon entry is $60 multiplied by the two or three entrants on the team, and reef swim entry fee is $60. Entry fees must be paid at the Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino registration desk on June 11, 2010, by cash only – personal checks are not accepted. Entry fee includes t-shirt, swim cap, awards party, and a very exciting event.
Registration for the event is open from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 11. Pre-race briefing will be held that same day at 6 p.m. at the Tinian Dynasty poolside, with the award party at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, at Taga Beach, Tinian.
