In a brief statement, the chairman of the school board, Dominic Fanasog, encouraged the graduates to move on and attain the highest achievement in live so they could be better and useful citizens of our islands in the future. He emphasized the need to understand the importance of self-sustainability through the development of our human resources.
The over 30 students will move on to 9th grade at Yap High School at the beginning of the next school year.
In celebration of the students’ promotion, 5th graders from Colonia Middle School performed dance numbers following the ceremony.
