The classes will take place in room A-12 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturdays in June, July and August.

And participants can learn about the world cultural and textual heritage of Korea — one of the CNMI’s important tourism markets.

The world has witnessed the meteoric rise of South Korea as a major player on the international stage during the past several decades.

There will be presentation time for the breath-taking scenery and diverse climate of Korea, its rich cultural heritage and artistic life, its peace-loving yet passionate populace, and its continuous devotion to the Confucian ideals of filial reverence, social harmony, education, and self-enrichment.

A primary goal of this class is to encourage cultural understanding and to provide a site of cultural exchange between Koreans and CNMI residents.

You can try on Korean traditional costume and taste homemade folk foods.

And you can travel into the history of the Land of Morning Calm.

The Korean Cultural Center will present opportunities devoted to diverse aspects of Korean and Korean contemporary culture as well as traditional heritage.
