Castro to serve on Senate JGL panel

SENATOR Manny Gregory T. Castro is now a member of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Government and Law.

Senate Vice President Karl King-Nabors, who chairs the committee, informed Senate President Dennis James C. Mendiola last week that he had invited Castro to join the committee, and that Castro had accepted the offer.

The other committee members are Sen. Frank Q. Cruz, Senate Floor Leader Donald M. Manglona, Sen. Corina Magofna, and Sen. Ronnie Calvo.

A Democrat from Saipan, Castro is also a member of the following Senate committees: Federal Relations and Military Affairs;  Health, Welfare and Programs;  Education and Youth Affairs; Executive Appointments and Government Investigations; Fiscal Affairs; Public Utilities, Transportation & Communications Committee; and Resources, Economic Development and Workforce.
