“This is the first year our business has donated to the NMC Foundation,” Li Guang Fei, operations manager of Summer Holiday Hotel said.
“Our company is very proud to be supporting the advancement of higher education in the CNMI,” he added.
The donation was presented in support of the upcoming 8th Annual NMC Foundation Golf Open, which is organized by the NMC Foundation. The tournament, the organization’s signature event, aims to raise critical funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.
“Summer Holiday Hotel’s sponsorship is greatly appreciated,” said Ben Babauta, president of the NMC Foundation.
“The company’s support of the golf open will contribute to the NMC Foundation’s fundraising efforts for higher education.”
The NMC Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to raise funds to support the Northern Marianas College, the CNMI’s lone post-secondary educational institution. The organization is composed of individuals who are dedicated and committed to ensuring that CNMI students receive the utmost support in pursuing their educational goals.
Saipan Lao Lao Bay Golf & Resort’s West Course will play host to the 8th Annual NMC Foundation Golf Open, scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010. Show time is 6 a.m. and shotgun start is 7 a.m. Registration fee is $95.
