2010 JROTC Academic Challenge

It was attended by 30 cadets that composed of six each per school. The competition’s purpose was to test the cadets’ knowledge of the JROTC curriculum and challenge their test-taking capabilities.

The contest was held at the classroom 1 of the Saipan Southern High School JROTC and it lasted from 10  to 11 a.m. although the cadets had to be there by 9 a.m.

The winner of the competition was the defending champion, Tinian High School Stallion Battalion.

The Stallion Battalion representatives were very glad that they had achieved the very coveted championship and trophy although all schools had done well.

The questions were presented through CPS, or Classroom Performance Systems, and were extracted from what the cadets should know from experience and the books. The questions were chosen and approved by all instructors.

Lunch was provided afterward and the Rota High School Buck Battalion and Tinian High School Stallion Battalion cadets safely returned home.

Congratulations to Tinian High School Stallion Battalion and to all of the participants! Remember, you are all winners!
