CIS awaits Orak’s report

CIS Detective Lieutenant Aloysius Alonz, said the medical report is expected to be completed this week.

The medical report will determine whether Orlando Orak died due to speeding or if it’s an alcohol- related death.

“I would need to find out if he was drunk and the level of alcohol, if there is and all the factor.” Alonz said.

Orak died on April 17 because of fatal injuries after hitting the streetlight pole while he was travelling along the Topside road.

The police said the impact was so strong causing injuries to victim’s head. The vehicle was severely damaged as a result of the accident.

Police personnel had to use cutting machine to pull out the remains from the car.

Meanwhile, the businessman who was found dead inside his car at the Sea Passion Hotel parking lot was died of heart attack, according to the police.

Alonz said Wai Kong Ho, a Portugese national died of heart attack based on the autopsy examination result being conducted by Dr. M Jonathan at the Belau National Hospital.

Ho was believed to be dead inside his car when the responding team arrived. According to Fire and Rescue Chief Benhart Baulechong, who was first responded at the area, the man was not breathing. His hands and fingers were pale.

Baulechong, however, said he immediately called the CIS for an assistance.

The CIS conducted investigation then brought the victim to the hospital. The man was sitting in upright position at the driver’s side when the responding team arrived.
