After dropping the first set against a much better and stronger team, MOE improved on the second set by giving different looks on each rallies that left the Spiders up on their toes at all times succumbing to a score of 25 – 23. Then on the last set, Spiders were not able to match MOE’s intensity on the last stages of in which scores were tied at 20 – 20 wherein, MOE took advantage of the situation and beat the web on the third set and won the match.
In other match, Catholic Mission School on a roll after winning three in a row to move up on team standing. CMS last prey was team Meyuns in which they went on to beat in three sets with scores of 17 – 25, 25 – 20, and 25 – 17.
As a result teams standing are as follows, #1 PCAA with 5 wins and 1 loss, #2 GBH with 4 wins and 2 losses, #3 MES 4 wins and 3 losses, #4 AES 4 wins and 3 losses, #5 PHS 4 wins and 4 losses, #6 CMS 4 wins and 4 losses, #7 KES 4 wins and 4 losses, #8 MOE 3 wins and 4 losses, and #9 SPED with 0 win and 7 losses.
Nine teams that composed of local elementary schools, high school, and institutions connected to education namely MOE, PHS, KES, MES, GBH, PCAA, Special Education, AES, and CMS is competing to get this year’s 2010 Volleyball Crown. All games will be played at the Koror Elementary School gym wherein first games will begin at exactly 6:00 p.m. followed by the second match that starts at 7:00 p.m. Rules of the league indicates that there should be a minimum of three women players in the court at all times and that first game teams will officiate the second game while the second game teams will control the first game match. Games will be based on the best-of-three sets including the playoffs and finals with all sets played to 25 points.
