Introduced by Rep. Teresita A. Santos, Ind.-Rota, House Local Bill 17-58 is now Rota Local Law 17-17.
It appropriates $2,500 for the Rota gaming commission’s executive director salary; $1,000 for professional services; S2,000 for communications; $300 for repairs and $200 for ground maintenance.
The commission’s executive director is Aflredo Antolin while the chairwoman who will also be the expenditure authority is Laura Manglona.
Rota’s struggling casino has been “temporarily closed” since March.
In an interview yesterday, Santos thanked Inos for signing her local bill.
She said the $6,000 was the remaining portion of the total license fee collection appropriated a few months ago.
Last May, Inos signed R.L.L. 17-4 appropriating $402,000 for the gaming commission.
