Solo win for jr. golfer at 2-Man Scramble

The 10-handicapper shot two strokes under par 34 in the front nine and scored a 32 in the back nine.

“He had a birdie on holes 12 and 13 and had an eagle on hole 15. Those were his leading factors,” RGA’s Jess Wabol told variety.

Camacho tied with Kim and Han, who also posted a 56 net. Both golfers however, weren’t eligible to win since they weren’t members of the RGA.

Camacho was the only solo golfer in the event, with Joe Saures and Ulysses Kapileo gaining second place on a 63 net.

The Saures-Kapileo duo scored 37s on both the front and back nines for a 74 gross.

Wabol —who was randomly paired with Nick Guerrero — and the pair of Tom Tebuteb and Diwaine Stephens tied with a 63.5 net.

Tars Olopai and Manny Mangarero followed with a 66 net.

Olopai and Stephens won ‘Closest to the Pin’ at holes No. 6 and No. 12, respectively.

The RGA will next hold its November Ace and December Ace Qualifier tournaments on November 6 at the Kingfisher Golf Links.
