J.D. Tenorio, emergency services director of the American Red Cross-NMI Chapter, said they felt these kits would be put to good use in the schools, many of which double as evacuation shelters during typhoons.
“The success of our chapter in the NMI is due in large part to the great partnerships we have forged with both government and private agencies over the years, and this is our way of saying thank you for all the support we have received,” Tenorio said.
