Autumn Justyne Quitugua Camacho of As Mahetog, Saipan earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, earning the highest honor, summa cum laude, by maintaining a cumulative GPA 4.0 at California State University, Sacramento. Autumn was part of over 9,700 graduates receiving degrees during Sacramento State’s 2025 Commencement Ceremony on May 17-19, at the Golden 1 Center.  Her parents (Chris and Amparo “Pao” Q. Camacho), and grandparents (Juan L. & Manuela A. Babauta and Luis S. & Fermina M. Camacho) are extremely proud of her accomplishments. Prior to her graduation, Autumn was selected for the Justice Epstein Judicial Internship Program at the Sacramento County Superior Court. During this internship, Autumn was able to learn about numerous aspects of the judicial process by observing trials, legal proceedings, and other events designed to offer different insights into the justice system, including moot court training, and the completion of an appellate court exercise. In the next stage of her journey, Autumn will pursue a Juris Doctor degree to expand her expertise in the field of law.
