Las Vegas Night raises over $37K

Rotary Club treasurer Amie Javier reported during yesterday’s meeting at the Hyatt  that from the total collections, the club will have $16,000 after expenses of over $18,600 are deducted. The expenses include $15,500  in prizes given to the raffle draw winners.

Club president Glen Perez said they will allocate 20 percent of the net proceeds from the Las Vegas Night for one of the club’s community projects, which is the Kagman children’s playground.

“The money can go a long way toward the completion of our community projects,” Perez said.

The club’s past projects included the skating park in Garapan.

Perez thanked the 43 members of the Rotary Club, the volunteers and everybody who came out on Saturday night to help make the event a big success.
