Judge Ramona V. Manglona sentenced Nakayama to six months imprisonment, all suspended except for three days with credit for three days served at the Department of Corrections facility.
The other charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace filed by the Attorney General’s Office were dismissed by the court as part of the plea agreement.
On Valentine’s Day, police said Nakayama assaulted his partner using a 2×4 wood, and also shattered the rear window of a 1992 Toyota Tercel.
Nakayama was ordered to pay a $100 fine, $250 in lieu of performing 50 hours of community work, a $25 court assessment fee, and a probation fee to be determined by the Adult Probation Office.
Nakayama will also pay $249 as restitution to his victim.
He will not possess or consume alcohol during the duration of his probation period and he will submit to random blood, breath or urine tests.
Nakayama will also submit to mental examination and complete whatever treatment is recommended.
