CUC requires all personnel to undergo customer service training

CUC chief finance officer Charles H. Warren said not only the personnel at the customer service section but even those  in the field are undergoing the training.

“Everybody in CUC is interacting with customers,” he said.

The training is “most important” to those  out in the field because they directly contact clients,” he added.

According to Warren, providing good customer service includes simple things like the proper way of answering phones, but these are sometimes forgotten.

CUC personnel on Rota and Tinian are also included in the customer service class, he said.

Island Training Solution is providing the class to over 300 personnel of CUC.

The class is compulsory and each personnel will attend depending upon the availability of their schedule.

“Our executive director wants everybody to undergo the training,” Warren said.

The initial session lasted for four hours but there are follow-up classes.

CUC Executive Director Abe Utu Malae said the customer service class involves continuing training.

“Customer service is the responsibility of all employees, not just the folks in the customer service office,” he said.
