Richard Seman appointed to WestPac

WestPac is one of eight regional councils established by Congress in the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act to ensure sustainable fishing practices in U.S. waters.

Members are nominated by the governors of their respective states or territories, and appointed by the U.S. secretary of Commerce.

“Congratulations to Mr. Seman and thank you for taking on the responsibility of managing our fishing resources in a sustainable and productive way,” Congressman Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan said.
