Manglona resisted to be arrested by the police and was charged with assault and battery and obstructing justice, which carries a maximum penalty of one year and a fine of not more than $1,000 or both.
According to the plea agreement submitted to the Superior Court, Manglona will also be placed on probation for one year and pay a fine of $300.
He will perform eight hours of community work service and must obey all CNMI and federal laws here.
“Failure to comply with any of the above conditions shall constitute a violation and shall subject defendant to revocation proceedings and additional criminal charges,” the plea documents stated.
