Zumba for Japan

Rotarian Elly Stoilova during Tuesday’s Saipan Rotary Club meeting at the Hyatt said the $5 cover charge for every guest will go a long way to support the Japan relief efforts.

She noted that over 10,000 people from all walks of life take the weekly Zumba classes in over 90,000 locations across over 110,000 countries.

“The program’s popularity keeps growing by leaps, bounds, and exhilarating dance steps, and people from all over the world are falling in love with Zumba,” Stoilova said.

She said the first 100 people who will dance at GIG will get a free Zumba bracelet.

Zumba, according to Stoilova, is a program that gets people to party into shape.

“It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health. The Zumba Party for Japan will give you a little idea and the possibility to taste yourself the rhythm for a good cause,” Stoilova said.

“Learn the steps and beats of Zumba and get the Zumba dance fever, and help support the victims of the disaster in Japan at the same time,” she added.

Sponsors for the event are Gold’s Gym, IT&E, Coca-Cola, Foremost and GIG.
