Blowout win for Armatech

Both Elmer Esdrelon and Bernard Montano tallied 17 points apiece as Ngeskebei piled 17 in the second half. Armatech pulled away at 23-9 in the first quarter, leaving Brabu no room to breathe.

Ngeskebei fired three straight three-pointers in the final period. Teammate Bruce Berline grabbed a couple late-game rebounds and scored 11 points. Ivan De Vero scored seven in the second quarter and seven more in the fourth for a 14 total.

Brabu Pharmacy’s Dennis Cortez earned seven points before getting fouled out. Randy Mungcal and Joe Ito, scoring 21 and 14 respectively, led Brabu’s main offensive but struggled to keep up.

Armatech secured a 56-28 lead six minutes into the third quarter and capped the game with eight more points from Francis Rebuyon, seven from Martin Moreno, three from Yosh Gabaldon, and two from Adonis Macoto.

Meanwhile, Brandon Talania and Badong Camacho’s sharp shooting and Edwin Santos’ rebounds saved Blue Haus from the Island Apparel Hotshots.

Team Blue Haus held their fragile three-point lead in the third quarter and finished off with a 67-61 victory.

Errol Peredo top scored with 31 points, but that wasn’t enough to save the Hotshots from their predicament.

Talania earned 26 points and capped the night with a jumper and three-pointer while Santos shot two free throws and totaled 15. Camacho piled 11 points, landing six in the second half. Jomar Tumaquip and Ben Lisua added nine and six, respectively.

Team Blue Haus fell behind three points early in the first quarter. Likewise, they came four points short at the end of the first half.

Hotshots’ JR Barrios assisted Peredo with 17 points and Junar Guiab squeezed in four.
