MY mom makes my family happy with the magic of her cooking.

One day I had a fever. I had chills and I was hungry and I felt like I wanted to eat something, but at the same time I didn’t.

My mom made me some warm noodles. It is a Japanese dish called Udon. I usually like the curry Udon or cold Udon, but when I have a cold, I eat a simple warm Udon with eggs.

Eating this warmed my body and I slept peacefully. My mom’s magic worked.

One morning, I ate a processed frozen muffin sold at the supermarket. I broke out hives all over my body.

That day when I came back from school with my mom and opened the door, the house was filled with a sweet, happy smell. It was the smell of chocolate muffins. My mom baked me some homemade muffins while I was at school.

Since the day I developed an allergy, I’ve been afraid of eating processed sweets so my mom makes me muffins and donuts by hand. Eating those sweets made me very happy.

One day, when I had a cough, my mom made me lemonade made from fresh lemons and plenty of honey. Drinking that made my cough go away. My mom’s magic worked again.

When I was feeling a little down, my mom makes me my favorite sushi! Then my mom’s magic worked again and I felt so happy and I felt better too!

My mom uses the magic of cooking to keep my mind and my body healthy.

But there’s a problem. When my mom is not feeling well, there’s no one who can make a delicious food for her. Maybe my dad doesn’t have enough sense to be a cooking wizard. So I started practicing so that I could use cooking magic myself.

I’m currently practicing making scrambled eggs. When I crack an egg successfully, I get excited and feel proud of myself.

Every time I finish cooking scrambled eggs and rice, my mom would be so happy and would praise me. It makes me feel really happy knowing that I can put a smile on her face.

By studying cooking magic, I learned that cooking every day is not a simple task. My goal is to one day be able to make warm egg Udon for my mom when she catches a cold.

Thank you, mom, for always giving myself and our family so much. Mom’s magical cooking makes me feel so happy. You are the best cook and Mom in the world!

Thank you for always making sure that we have food so we don’t get hungry. When you cook, our family is happy and you’re like a cooking magician.

Thank you and I love you so much more than anything.
