Judge Kenneth L. Govendo found reasons for Borja’s detention on charges of disturbing the peace, assault with a dangerous weapon, child abuse, and assault and battery.
The boy suffered scratches, and bruises on both legs, according to Detective Vincent Mareham.
No other details regarding this case were available.
Chief Prosecutor Michael Ernest represented the government while Assistant Public Defender Richard Miller served as counsel for Borja.
Judge Govendo imposed a $20,000 cash bail on the defendant.
