Rollers seek 12U, 14U participants
The Rollers Basketball Club is still looking for teams interested in joining the 12 and 14-and-under divisions of its Cupid Basketball Tournament this weekend.
Entry fee is $100 per team. Games start Friday, Feb. 25, 5 p.m. and continue on Saturday and Sunday.

Knights beat Torch Bearers, 38-26
Mount Carmel School improved its middle school basketball record to eight wins and two losses after beating Agape Christian School, 38-26 at their home court.
MCS’ Jung top scored with 18 points while Evangelista and Aaron Pamintuan tallied 14 and six, respectively. The Knights led 15-11 in the third quarter before securing the game.
Jacky led ACS with 16 points.
The Knights will take on Seventh-day Adventist School today, 3:30 p.m. at MCS’ court. Other matches are: Saipan International School vs. Calvary Christian Academy and ACS vs. Grace Christian Academy.
Kids’ beach volleyball clinic starts today
THE Northern Marianas Islands Volleyball Association’s Marianas Cup Beach Volleyball Festival officially starts today with a free kids’ clinic at Fiesta Resort and Spa.
The clinic starts 4 p.m. and will be joined by pro beach volleyball players Jennifer Snyder, Angela Lewis, Paul Baxter, Billy Strickland, Ty Loomis, Hiroyo Kaneda, and Megumi Murikami.
The beach volleyball festival continues with pro exhibition games tomorrow, pro-am pool play on Saturday, Feb. 26, and a pro-am double elimination tournament on Sunday, Feb. 27.
