Fireworks, lion dances to highlight Chinese New Year’s party

Association director Rose Chan said the festivities will highlight colorful firework displays, performances, food, and other exciting programs.

Tickets are available for $25 each, inclusive of dinner buffet and a chance to win any of the attractive raffle prizes, including plane tickets to China.

Chan said  they have invited Gov. Ben Fitial, Superior Court Judge David Wiseman and other dignitaries to grace the occasion.

“2011 is the Year of the Rabbit. The rabbit is a charming, diplomatic, determined and ambitious creature,”  Chan said.

“We wish everyone good health and economic prosperity throughout the year,” she added.
