The All-Stars’ winning streak was ignited after Marianas High School’s John Darag nailed a bold shot behind the three point line to send the crowd into a wild frenzy.
Saipan Southern High School’s Melvin Cadiang readily showcased his talent on the arena as well unfazed by the international team. Cadiang nailed four points followed by a charity shot after being fouled on his way for a lay-up shot.
The international team left the All-Stars behind during the first half of the game by three points after Rikiya Hashimoto collared a three pointer as well followed by teammate Daiki Ito’s jump shot to seal the first half in their favor.
The second half proved to be grueling on both ends but the All-Stars team prevailed after Marianas High School’s Ryan Ichihara and Erick Dela Rosa, Saipan Southern High School’s Melvin Cadiang scored a total of eight points to leave the Red Impulse behind, 18-16.

The Second game was a coalition between the COPSSA All-stars girls team and the MISO All-stars girls team. MISO prevailed after quick feet work and great teamwork.
Marianas High School Krizandra Gozon ignited MISO’s winning rally after nailing six points while teammates Marianas High School’s Sherlaine Rivera and Kagman High School’s Mercedes Mesa each garnered a lay up shot.
The second half was no different story as MISO created an immovable barrier against their foes simultaneously moving forward against COPSSA. Saipan Southern High School’s young gun Roxanne Duenas refused to let her presence go unnoticed on the arena. Duenas garnered 13 points to seal the competition in her team’s favor, 27-6.
