Free training courses for Filipino workers

Consul General Medardo Macaraig said the training will be held at the Filipino Workers Resource Center on the ground floor of the Marianas Business Plaza in Susupe and will start in February.

The following courses will be offered:

Basic computer operation 1. Jousel L. Regilme is the instructor and it will be held from Feb. 12 to April 2, 12 noon to 3 p.m.

Meat processing. Hermie Coronejo, Ignacio Banadera Jr. and  Marlon Regaton. Feb. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Feb. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

“Sari-Sari” (Convenience) Store. Eli Arago and Melvin Malvar.  March 5, 12, and 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

Aquaculture. Ali Badilles, Banadera and Regaton. March 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and April 2 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Basic English Language. Fe Calixterio. March 26 to April 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and April 30 to May 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Basic Nihongo. Leopoldo Rodriquez Jr. Feb. 13 to April 3, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Labor Representative Carmelina F. Velasque said slots will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applicants are requested to bring their umbrella or work permit, passport and two identification pictures.
