The theme is “Laugh Out Loud” and the event is open to everyone who has the talent to make people laugh.
JC Café manager Lot G. Bunao said attractive prizes are at stake for the winners.
The top three placers will receive $100, $75 and $50.
The next competitions are set for April 9, May 7, June 4 and the grand finals will be held on July 9. Prizes for the grand finals are $250, $100 and $50 for the top three placers.
Bunao said due to the hard economic times, business establishments need to organize regular events to draw more tourists and customers and spur the economy.
JC Café successfully held the first “Showtime Magpasikat (Be Famous) Challenge” on Feb. 11. The winners who excelled in singing, dancing, sketching and drawing and other skills went home with various prizes from the event sponsors.
