Satbahi pummels Prospects, 72-67

Team Prospects yanked the driver’s eat of the game away from Satbahi the minute the game started. With its team members Joseph White, Darwin Barbo, and Alex Lauron each scoring 6 points, 5 points, and 3 points, respectively; they were then able to push past the Satbahis by 6 points towards the end of the quarter.

At the bottom of the first ten minutes of the game, the Prospects sailed past the Satbahis by 6 points, 25-19.

During the second quarter of the game the Prospects widened their lead to a whopping 13 points difference after the Prospects repeatedly pounded the Satbahis with lay up shots and off of the key shots.

Darwin Barbo, Ehroll Peredo and Perry Inos jumped into the winning band wagon and each contributed his four pence to the advancement efforts of team Prospects.

By half time team Prospects were ahead by 13 points, and gripping the upper hand with a 44-31 deficit.

Team Satbahi refused to go down without a fight. Luis Abuel scored 11 points throughout the third quarter finishing his statistics with a successful charity shot to bring his home team closer to the Prospects by closing the gap to 10 points, 59-49.

Both teams anticipated the final quarter of the game. But with pure talent and skills backed up with strong offense and defense tactics, the Satbahis achieved a come-from-behind win to avoid a major downfall against last season’s UBA Champs.

Both teams met at the 59 point mark and tied after Rolly Paraiso bagged a successfully jump shot. The game was thrown back and forth for the next minute and thirty seconds. Silence was then head from both teams for the next minute.

The two teams butted heads again at the 67 point mark. But Satbahi gave it one good yank. Luis Abuel then collared two more points to put Satbahi ahead with Glenn Aquino connecting the final basket in the last seconds of the game to zip past the Prospects by a hairline and achieving a come-from-behin-win, 72-67.
