Dennis Tababa of PIC’s sports, entertainment and activities committee yesterday said they’re hoping to sell as many ducks as they can to raise more funds to support the fight against cancer.
A $1,000 cash prize is at stake for the winning duck in the race. Second and third placers will win $300 and $200. A plastic duck costs $5 each.
Tababa is also urging more companies to join the first Corporate Duck Race which will be held before the duck race for cancer.
He said 12 slots are still open for companies.
Entry fee is $100 per company.
This is the third duck raising event hosted by PIC. The hotel raised over $10,000 in the last two events.
