TRIPLE J Enterprises Chairman and Founder Robert H. Jones, along with company officials and staff, joined Triple J Motors General Manager Ben Lizama and his family in celebrating Lizama’s 75th birthday at the dealership on Beach Road on Friday.
Jones also presented Lizama with a certificate of appreciation for his 40 years of outstanding performance and in sincere gratitude for his unselfish contributions to Triple J Saipan, Inc. Lizama, the company’s very first employee, began his career with Triple J in 1985, shortly after the company started operations on Saipan.
In an interview after blowing out the candles on his cake, Lizama said he used to be a technician in the Department of Public Works’ Energy Office. He resigned and joined Triple J Motors because he liked the brand name of one of the cars the company was selling — Subaru, which was very popular in the U.S.
Lizama thanked Jones for hiring him and everyone who joined him at the celebration.
He served as sales manager from 1985 to 1994 and was promoted to general sales manager in 1994. Over the years, according to the company, Lizama has earned multiple recognitions, including Salesperson of the Year, and is widely respected for his longevity and success in the industry.
“As we celebrate 40 years of Triple J Saipan, it is only fitting that we also recognize Ben Lizama, who has been with us from the very beginning,” Jones said.
“For four decades, Ben has been a trusted advisor to families across the island and a steady presence at our dealership. His consistency, professionalism and dedication reflect the very values on which Triple J was founded. Ben’s story is part of the story of Triple J, and we are proud to celebrate his 40 years of service alongside his 75th birthday,” he added.
